PREPARE FOR YOUR ADULTHOOD AND FOR THOSE TO COME...

While doing volunteer work for Senior Citizens I met an old gentleman from Peru who had been a lawyer in his youth.  In an attempt to convince a group of politicians in the area of New Jersey to establish a senior center which would offer community members what they needed most, he made a series of interesting statements.  He explained that he would soon die but, that he was presenting his case for "those to come".  In other words, his argument was based on the fact that he wanted to prepare an appropriate place of services for future elders... Perhaps we as parents and teachers must prepare also for "those to come" as well as for "those ALREADY here".  If we do not care for our planet and teach youngsters to do the same there will be negative catrastophic  future consequences.  These links are meant to encourage all to consider the health of Earth and promote environmental care because EACH CHILD IS A SPECIAL GIFT AND A TREASURE TO BE PROTECTED!

CHILDREN WORLDWIDE must learn about CARE of PLANET EARTH.  We are all a part of humankind---all a part of the same species. GLOBALIZATION is an important educational element that must be addressed by teachers around our globe.
